So good to be Loved

So good to be loved
for when I go home
You are always there
and I am not alone.
Your arms enfold me
as you hold me tight
so even when I'm sad
you make things seem right

The touch of your hand
the smile on your face.
You just look at me
and my heart doth race.
I hope this life
will always be this way.
And we will be together
forever and a day.

Doreen E Hampshire

This is what makes me feel happy

GOD

God made me and I'm thankful for that
HE is my creator my search seeker mat
Whenever I'm blue and feeling alone
HE is right there beside me edging me on

At times when I feel like the world lets me down
I reach out to speak to HIM and I'm no longer alone
HE guides me and helps me and gives me such joy
I am so grateful HE is my concrete voice

I owe HIM so much but HE asks for nothing in return
Just that I love HIm and serve HIM with no scorn
Be kind to others and treat them with grace
Don't be judgmental keep a smile on your face

Praise HIM and talk to HIm every single day
Not just when you find things aren't going your way
HE will be there for you just give HIM a try
But whatever you do don't ever say good-bye

Dawn breaking, a new day
Kittens at play

A lover’s embrace
The Sun on my face

Spring grass freshly mown
A small kindness shown

Animals wild and free
Floral variety

A beer down the pub
A hot soak in the tub

A good film on T.V.
A letter for me

A call from a friend
Some money to spend

Sitting under a tree
Writing poetry
Very Happy

Softly comes the sunlight
Sparkling through trees
Shimmering webs like small jewels.

A butterfly seeks the buddleia
Its orange wings quivering in ecstacy
The cat stretches its lean body
Pink padded paws towards the hedge.

Across the valley,
The wind shakes the trees
As if they are in a dance.
Cows walk slowly across the field.
The shadows lengthen.
And you beside me look at all this and then at me
And we smile together.

PostSubject: For the beauty of creation   Tue Aug 25, 2009 4:04 pm

For the beauty of creation Lord
That all around I see
For birdsong and for flowers
I give my thanks to thee

For sunshine and for showers
That make the flowers grow
For mountains and for rivers
And for the winter snow

For all the many blessings
That I enjoy along my way
Let me sing thy praises Lord
For giving me this day
