Beavers

I have just joined the beavers
I’m busy as can be
But I’m not a Beaver
Who gnaws at trees

I go out on a night
To lean new things
I write and play
Some Sunday’s I sing hymns

There are a lot of Beavers
And we meet every week
It is so much fun, and I like it
I think it is great.

I'm a bit envious of you, Finley. I imagine I would have thorougly enjoyed being a Beaver but I never got a chance. Then again I don't like discipline and ofcourse there have to be rules for all the things you do. A nice poem to let the world know you have an important position! You are a Beaver and that certainly counts for something. Enjoy yourself!
