Joshua

The sun still shines, the rain still falls,
the stars come out at night.
Yet whenever we are far apart,
the world doesn't seem so bright.

Your gentle ways, your loving smile
are plain for all to see.
And the time we spend together,
is such a treasure to me.

I know it cannot be for long
we have this time to share,
but we will make the most of it
because it is so rare.

For you know that I love you, and I always will.
My heart just fills with joy.
Whenever you come into sight
Much more than just a boy.

And all the while we can create
memories, without number.
And when it's done, and I am gone,
I'll take my final slumber.

Then you can wake and, with a smile,
recall the fun we had.
How we learned so much from each other
and never had time to be sad.

Grandad.

Dear **Ian**: As Joshua's friend
you've set some magnificent trend.
You show an example
of how something ample
grows out of each blend and each bend!

Cool

I'm sure that he'll always remember you fondly.
