Ann

They say there are two kinds of love
On this earth that we all share.
The one that sweeps you off your feet
and leaves you without a care.

The other is a slower kind
that grows as we get older
It may not seem to burn so bright
And often continues to smoulder.

Yet this second kind of love, you see
will last for eternity
while the first, though bright, quite soon will fade
In the glare of adversity.

And so I'm sure, as years go past
and memories begin to falter
Our love will continue, and be deeper still
Than the day we stood at the altar.

For you are my love, my soulmate,my all
and I know that you feel that way too.
Our years have gone by in the blink of an eye,
And I thank God I've spent them with you.

Ian

Dear **Ian**: Ann's moments with you
must seldom have marred any view.
You've dwelt as fine lovers
who under all covers
might always have felt spanking-new?
