| White Shadows
The long white shadows of the snow crunch under my feet like crushed diamonds as the winter moonlight lets their sparkle climb up like lattices to the stars
I am words walking on the long sheet of white paper snow, letting the thoughts slowly rise up through the skeletal layers, the palimpsest of old memories is an afterglow...
I have walked through this blizzard so many times before, blinded without a destination, a hooded figure of thoughts, swirling a cape around the days and nights, pivoting black and white, coal and diamonds, falling through shards of memories emanating from the great spiral in the sky, swirling snowflakes around inside the heart of the lost pearl, leading me out into the parapet of dreams, leading me out into the great reef of darkness once moreā¦

| Dear **Carol**: Your battle finds brilliance, as you quite embody resilience. Through snow, rain, and sleet your modes are pure heat extending life's best luminescence. |

| A beautiful picture and a lovey poem which seems symbolic of much else - searching for something, - light through darkness - loved it. |

| Nothing soft and gentle about this snow .. I can feel the frost, and hear your footsteps! Like the others, I wonder about the darkness you get drawn to ... or is it that the shortness of winter days catch you out, as you wander in your reverie?
