ENTHUSED
Enthused and re-enthused, we often find
that natural events are bound to seem
as lively as might seem some lovely dream
in which all sorrow must be turning kind.
The universe may seem to have a mind
eternally opposed to every gleam
in which mere humans thrive or vent sad steam,
but glory plays a part in any bind.
Concerned about the suddenness of woe,
flesh nonetheless propels itself along
and seems in touch with countless forms of glow.
To be on Earth is, somehow, like a song
transcending much harsh motion meant to stow
deliciousness -- life's way of feeling strong.

No matter what woes beset us
The beauty of earth will still show.
