| When the books in Heaven are opened
On that final Judgement Day
Will your name be called up yonder
Or with it have been erased
Will you stand before the Savior
Only to be denied
Will you hear "I never knew you,
Though many times you passed me by"
Have you wandered through life aimlessly
Never hearing his call
Or did you choose not to listen
Fearing you'd have to give him your all
He suffered so with blood and fears
Just to set you free
He was bruised, and beaten, and spit upon
Are you one of these
Will you be granted eternal life
And so receive a crown
When the books in Heaven are opened
Will your name be found. |
