A wanted man

If you see this man
Tall and heavy
In a red suit
Go really steady
He has a white beard
And leaves presents
When children are asleep
Or at least silent

He is a mystery man
Known as Santa Claus
Or Father Christmas
But is it against the law
For he does act strange
He sneaks into houses
Likes an intruder
Never takes anything
Expect the odd mince pie and cider

So if you do see this man
Do not be afraid
For whatever presents he leaves
He never does get paid
He only works on Christmas Eve
And hides away all year
But his presents please the children
As he brings them all good cheer

Doreen,
I liked this one. He is definitely wanted especially by the Catholic folks. I imagine some Jewish kids wish he would visit their houses too...
Your friend,
David Fox

Dear **Blissy Doreen**: Old Saint Nick
might happily hand you a stick.
That stick (sticky candy)
would seldom seem dandy
yet often could lend you a lick.
