Valerie likes to do things her own way
which is usually time-consuming.
She drives me crazy from day to day
and sometimes even leaves me fuming.

She hardly ever listens to me.
Maybe once there will be a day
when she will suddenly see the light
so I will be able to say:

"She did it my way!"

Her manic depression and obsessions make her take so long to do every task in the house. I show her how to do it quicker but she still continues to do things her own way which is a terrible waste of time. She is a control freak so I just let her carry on.

If it helps to contribute to a better marriage, sometimes it is best, to keep your mouth shut before you insert your foot in it. Looks like you are learning to do just that.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have a 'Do it my way or take the highway' attitude in relationships.

It sounds as if this relationship gives you plenty of opportunity to build up your patience skills

I liked that... you are like any couple lol... each with their own way of doing things, but can learn from each other too.
