Goodbye November

Goodbye kind November
No mists or fog this year
Spells of sunshine on many days
So it brought us all good cheer
The lovely weather brought more berries
Which is Mother natures’ offerings
Plenty for birds to feed on
And that makes my heart sing

But now November has left us
Ice and cold winds do wait
For Jack Frost is out there
And he always likes to share
Yet we can plant our spring bulbs
As we look forward, not looking back
And we’ll think about the warmer weather
As we try to forget frosty Jack
Doreen 2011[

Doreen,
A nice poem. It is still November here in NY right now for a few more hours (as I am typing this it is 6:28 p.m) but I get the gist. Don' mean to be so technical. A good poem just the same and where has this year gone? Soon it will be Hanukkah, Christmas, and before you know it New Year's Day, 2012.

Doreen, a nice farewell poem to November! Very Happy

I like Jack Frost, too, even though he can be a pain in the back! Embarassed

Best,
Carol

Dear **Honest Doreeeeeen**: Come December,
we maybe hark back to November.
A year stays quite near
to helping us queer
our gladness at death in each ember.
