PostSubject: Broken Hearted Clown   Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:33 pm

Broken hearted Clown

I’m a broken hearted clown
And I ran away to sea
No one really liked my act
They always laughed at me
I tried to tell them funny jokes
But that never ever worked
Then one day I just flipped my lid
And actually went berserk

I was told a change of scenery
Would do me the world of good
So I took them at their word
And went to sea. I misunderstood
While I was on the sailing ship
Once more I played the clown
But the people they just shouted
With their faces in a frown

I then took my loose page writing book
To write down stories and some jokes
But my muse had finally left me
Well there’s nowt so queer as folk
On the second week at sea
Our ship hit a big rock
I was thrown overboard
And landed up in shock

I awoke on a small island
Surrounded just by the sea
So I wrote and wrote my memoirs
Well! I had my paper with me
But on one very windy day
When I was on my knees
All the writing I had written
Was blown away on the breeze

I’m a broken hearted clown
And I am lost at sea
So if some-one finds my work
I hope they’ll think of me

PostSubject: The Clown, Jill Phil and Tim   Sun Mar 13, 2011 3:19 am

There once was a clown
Who always wore a frown
Because no one ever laughed at him
That is, until he met Jill,
Her brother Phil and their other brother, Tim.
Whatever he did, these kids thought was funny
He figured this was better than money.
You see, their parents treated him well
With clothes and a bed
3 meals he was fed
He thought this deal was swell.
He felt guilty one day,
So he went away
To try and find another career
But without any experience
Besides being a clown
They all said, "You can't posibly work here".
Finally to the circus he went back
The ringmaster was taken aback
But gave the clown's job back to him
Now all the while
When he gets a smile
It reminds him of Jill, Phil and Tim.

Your friend,
David Fox

My particular clown is all paws and hair
A brainless mutt, not quite all there
Sometimes his brain takes up a notion
Then loses it before he puts it in motion
Uncoordinated, and mainly a mess
But he's still a dog, more or less
