A wonderful sight

A beautiful rainbow
All woven with light
Yet needs sun and rain
To show this delight
Seven different colours
High in the sky
Symbols of happiness
No need to cry.

God sent the rainbow
We all can share
So after a storm
Just stand and stare
See the beautiful colours
For they don’t stay long
So just keep looking up
Or the rainbow has gone

Doreen E Hampshire

That's a beautiful picture, and your words do it justice, Doreen!
everyone loves to see a rainbow, it is a shame they are so fleeting

What an amazing picture, Doreen! I also like both the sun and the other orb within the picture- is it the sun and the moon?? Unusual and very striking.

Rainbows are so beautiful and always bring delight to us all when we see them. I enjoyed your homage to them very much.

That's a lovely poem, and so uplifting, like the sight of a rainbow.
