| ... Something the cat dragged in A plastic tube, a piece of string A butterfly with just one wing A dead bumble bee, still with sting And an unidentifiable thing
Something the cat dragged in A bunch of keys, on a ring Half an earthworm, long and thin Remains of salmon in a tin A tie-wrap and a safety pin
Something the cat dragged in Wondering each day, what she will bring A pork chop, or a chicken shin Or simply a potato skin Treasures gleaned from next doors bin
Something the cat dragged in A photo of Martin Luther King Half a bottle of Gordon’s gin Absolution from original sin No just herself and that Cheshire grin. ... _________________ Steve www.noaddress.co.uk

| That is one busy cat, Steve. She wouldn't leave you much room to live in the end. |

| Thats true Eunice, but luckily our bin men call too... so most of her collection is carted off on a wednesday. Her latest trick is collecting giant hawk moth catepillars from the Fuchsia's. _________________ Steve www.noaddress.co.uk

| I loved particulalry the last verse - if only cats would bring soemthing valuable we could use. We get voles and mice a plenty - and even a dragon fly !) I suppose they are presents but sadly not much appreciated by us. Sometimes they are accompanied by loud miau's advertising the catch. Does your cat do this? A lovely portrait of your cat, Steve.
