PostSubject: Carry with you   Sun Aug 22, 2010 11:10 pm

Carry with you all my dreams
Fill empty skies with beating wings
Yield not to buffeting storms
Soar with me from mortal things

Sweep us up through soft moonbeams
Touch the stars, disperse their light,
Scatter it where darkness lies
Pattern me your arc of light

Take me with you, let me fly
Show me all the sea and sky
Fly me high, fly me low
Teach to me all which you know

Swoop me to the furthest star
Keep me close, take me far
Let me feel what freedom brings
Feather light within your wings

Rose,
I like this, but I am a bit confused. Is this a love poem or a poem to God? (which would be surprising, since you don't normally write those.) Nice job, either way.
Your friend,
David Fox

It seems like a love poem - a desire to be with the person who most gives you a feeling of freedom and aspiration perhaps? It was very beautiful.
