PostSubject: In Stereo   Tue Aug 10, 2010 12:59 pm

Transported today in troublesome twos
Stereo renditions of the blues
Both of them sounding well off key
Sitting in the car right next to me
They obviously don’t really know
The tune that’s on the radio
Maybe they’re asking, are we there, yet
Or they know they’re going to the vet
Four accusing eyes stare, accentuate
Musical volume of increasing rate
Ear muffs, now, are on my shopping list
So next time, I won’t know what I’ve missed

A lively poem - I am assuming you are writing about two pets rather than your children?

I think that's a safe assumption, Jo. Good one, Rose.
Your friend,

I think these must be cats. It reminds me of a poem I wrote many years ago about taking my cat to the vet.
