Love can be hard and selfish Taking but not giving from the heart Controlling another with relish Whilst tearing tranquility apart
True love is when both partners care And create together a heaven to share

| thank you for commenting, it was done as a rewrite of William Blake's The Clod and the Pebble ...two different types of love, neither of which to me seemed right, hence the last couplet
