As she watched their very young, playing
With each other, not a single care.
She thinks of purity.

She listens to the voices of their old.
She feels love, warmth and understanding.
She sees no prejudice here.

She ponders, why they lose the light, that
Dwells within their soul.
But, only to regain it, as they grow old.

It is strange how the young and old have those similarities. I think we grow too complicated in those middle years.....
