Thanks Doreen. I always panic a bit about anything new to me on the computer! I am glad I am not the only one who finds it difficult sometimes. The number of times Karen has rescued me over the years when i have got stuck over something technical on the site !

This was supposed to be another image of my garden but I seem to be incapable of downloading images. Can you help as I would love to share them with you properly!

I have tried photobucket as well but the same thing happens.

Well these pictues are fantastic! Doreen you brother's garden is lovely. I htought the statue set off the geranium beautifulkly. And in the second picture, the climbing roses arestunning and the viewis set off by the copper sycamore? acer? in the background. and Karen, lovely to see three of your gardens! It is interesting to see the windmill in two different settings. Your Dad is very clever and you are excellent at knowing how to enhance the features with plants and little creatures combined. It is an enchabnting garden.

OK by the weekend I will try and upload one of my garden as well. It is really lovely to share our garden pleasures. Thank you so much for all the contributions so far.

It could be, Jo, I'm not good at garden flower identity, though that & the other which is the same plant, have bloomed from the dropped bird seed.

This one might be easier to identify.

Thanks Val. How interesting your pictures are and how they show that when we look closely we see beautiful things instead of just dismissing them. I wonder if the one lot of yellow flowers could be aconites? I love the closeups of the insects too but particulalry I loved the sparrow on the red hot poker. I always love the seeds dropped by birds which flourish in the garden - especially acqualiga. I iwll enclose some photos of my own garden soon instead of hiding beind the Italian garden - but it was so serene i had to let you share in it.

Thanks again, Val.

Very nice, Jo & what a lovely place to live.

Our very scruffy patio, I love seeing it covered in 'weeds', though some of the plants are pretty. They grow from the dropped & missed by the birds bird food.

In the grass.

Red Hot Pokers & a Sparrow.

No idea what this is.

Nor this, it isn't a Dandelion either.

Hoverfly.

Great! Thanks for your enthusiasm Val and Karen. I will try and upload one not of my garden (I wish!) but one in Bellagio near Lake Comos which was part of our holiday.
