After another cold spell with minus temperatures & frozen pond, cars early a.m. etc. Today was warmer & wet to start, we then had a sunny & blue sky afternoon, but it has stayed mild.

Your poor niece, Eunice. I saw the flooding on the news. It had reached Victoria yesterday.
Cloudy here & much milder than last week.

Mainly just light, misty rain today and warmer.not s bad as Australia, Val. My neice in Brisbane has lost mostly everything.

Weather seems to have settled down to our usual Winter type. Chilly, early, then sunny, with cloud & a bit of rain. As it should be here this time of year.

Heavy rain yesterday and today. Flooding in parts of Auckland.

Sunny today & warm in the sun, but the temps dropped cosiderably when evening came.

Yet another day of rain & mist.

Pouring rain all day again, mild & in double figures.

Beautiful sunny days for the last week. I had a great time in Taupo.

Rained all day yesterday & in the evening too. Watery blue sky today with some sun. The garden is a bog. It is much milder though, into double figures.

Since I last posted here, on weather, it has rained in varying amounts, today almost constantly. Back to our usual weather for Winter here in Devon.

Very hot for the last few days. I hope it keeps up as I am off to Taupo for a few more days. I'm going to soak in the lake and vegetate.

Rain and wind all day but sun came out at tea timeWind has caused damage in many places and Christchurch has had many strong aftershocks with more damage done. They have had about 3,000 aftershocks since the big one in September, but the Boxing Day one is the worst

The snow/ice has virtually all gone, a thaw set in this morning & it has been raining heavily since this afternoon & is still raining as I type this.

Goodness, Eunice. I hope the fires abate soon.

Beautifully hot and sunny. Down south it has been so hot and windy that there are forest fires everywhere.Fire fighters from the North Island are having to go down to help. They have been burning for about three days so far and more hot winds are predicted.

Drizzly and humid today. I hate humid. It saps all my very-low-level energy.

Snow all gone here, back to our usual Wintery weather, pouring rain. It feels positively balmy here at +11c.

Ten days of snow and it still looks like that. We have been snowed in all week and I have looked after the boys since Thursday LOL Please go awayh now we are all fed up of the snow

Well, in the last few days we have had all the weather nature can throw at us. Freezing conditions, snow, hail, sleet, high winds from the Arctic by the feel of them & now tonight torrential rain. The snow has gone, but I don't know if the ground has defrosted enough for the rain to sink in. If it freezes again tonight/early morning tomorrow, it will be like a skating rink outside.

Sugar sprinkling in East Devon. Hope those in the north UK are OK though!

Glad to hear of your lovely Summer, Eunice!! I remember yo uwere haciving a horrible time when we had our Summer, so you definitely deserve it.
