Ladybird, ladybird,
fly away home
Your house is on fire,
and your children are gone
It hadn’t been warm,
since they’ve been away long
No need to hurry,
just to hear their swansong

Ladybird, ladybird,
stay where you are
Your house is just ashes,
your children have gone far
It’s turned into dust,
they don’t care where you are
Leave the ashes alone,
lest memories scar

I like the way you have taken a well known poem and then given it a twist.
Lovely photo too.
