As they cut the umbilical cord They brainwashed me, with the word of our lord Born in a moment, all neat and spliced Have you heard about, our Jesus Christ
He haunted me to my very grave A useless life lived for him to save And when I died, his spirit dismissed It turned out he did not even exist ...

| No worries David. I am only a Christian because others told me I am. and if one knows their heart.. It doesn't matter what the others say?

| We find our own way in this world and none of us knows if there is life after this one, some of just choose to believe. One thing is for certain, Jesus was a real man...but even though I believe, I know there is a lot about his life on this earth we do not know. It gives me peace to believe in something greater than myself, and a life which will be perfect one day. I would like to believe we would all love to live in a perfect world one day. If it fails to happen, then I have lost nothing in believing. All that said, I respect your right to not believe. |

| I don't think anyone could actually tell you to think anything, Steve, as you are such a lovely and wonderful independant thinker, as this poem says really. It must be a comfort to believe in the greatness of man, and to feel that nothing more powerful than you exists. You hang on in there.

| The beauty of this world is that there is a freedom of choice(in most places...) to believe or not to believe, and everyone has that right, to say yes or no. An interesting poem Steve...Keith.
