| [b ] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... She lay there Warm Limp Beautiful
Cradled in my hands Unconscious Perhaps
Yet my thoughts chilled As her blood ran cold
Neck broken Death was instant
I caressed her lifeless body Whispered regretful sorrows
Buried her gently
Did she see the beauty? Of her sparrow-hawk reflection Just before, she met the glass Of the patio door.[/b] _________________ |

| I have chosen Steve's poem The Looking Glass
A true to life poem looking at the dangers that birds face. also Steve wrote it in such a way that kept the reader guessing until the final lines Well done Steve _________________ |
