wishes and plans we want for the up and coming year.
Maybe it's a dream wedding you are planning,
or a beautiful holiday/vacation,
maybe it's spending more time with loved ones,
whatever your wishes and dreams are
write a poem to share with us all.

This year I may sell (and then buy)
the concept of **really fine tie.**
That concept should stead me
(and ALMOST MIGHT BED ME)

New Year's Dreams

I dream of a year which is free from stress
Where, to every question, the answer is yes
And each day ends with a sweet caress

I dream of days where I can be free
Where I am allowed to be – just me
And there is no need to disagree

I dream of nights which are warm and long
Where I can feel that I belong
As I listen to every romantic song

I dream of a man who understands
Who will walk with me, holding hands
And give me love with no demands

I dream of these things through each cold night
As the hands of the clock move past midnight
I hope this year will make everything bright

My dream for the New Year is a stroll on the beach
With a girl on my side it's not out of reach
Although it's to cold here to do that today
I'll wait until summer then frolic and play.

In new year dreams of what it brings
I don't wish for material things,
for things to own and things to lease
do not bring happiness or peace.
It's things that money cannot buy
these are the things that signify.
Love of friends and family strong
feature in my new year song.
Happy times and simple fare
to take me gently through this year;
wisdom to make wise decisions,
a warm home and full provisions,
time to sit and dream a while,
time to laugh and time to smile,
to walk along a sandy beach
with creamy surf just out of reach.
I wish this too for all our members
till this year burns its final embers.
